What the service is

HoldForYou places a telephone call, on your instruction, to a public phone number you select. It navigates the automated menu, waits in the ordinary queue, and connects you when a live person answers. It does not bypass, skip, or reorder any queue.

What the service is not

HoldForYou is an independent private service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, any insurance payer, or any other organisation whose line you ask us to call. We do not provide tax, legal, medical, or financial advice. We cannot access or act on your account with any of those organisations. Every number we dial is published free of charge by its owner, and you may always call it yourself at no cost.

Your authorization

By starting a call you authorize us to place automated calls to the line you select on your behalf, and to place a call to the number you provide when a live agent is reached. You confirm the number you gave us is yours and that you may receive calls at it. You may revoke this at any time by cancelling the call.

Billing

You are charged only on a completed connection to a live person. No connection, no charge. We do not guarantee that any particular line will answer, that it will answer within any time, or that the person who answers can resolve your issue.

Acceptable use

You may not use HoldForYou to harass any organisation or person, to place calls you are not entitled to place, or to circumvent a block placed on you. We cap the number of simultaneous calls to any line and may refuse or stop service to any line at any time, including at the request of the line's owner.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the call at issue.

HoldForYou is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the IRS or any government agency.
